Our History

Established in Santos in 2003, AGS-Ágora Global Services specialises in Marine and Non-Marine claims; providing loss prevention inspections, cargo claims handling and claims consultancy.

Our clients include exporters, importers, trading companies, shipping agents and sea carriers, as well as insurers, brokers and law firms.

AGS is distinguished by a team of independent professionals with wide experience and recognised prestige in the specialised management of claims, as well as in the provision of technical services to the insurance market.

It is a multidisciplinary team of professionals with extensive experience in managing numerous claims of great technical complexity.

Our technical team is composed of professionals from all disciplines with proven capacity, technical competence, efficiency and independence in claims handling.

Services are provided considering criteria of geographical proximity as well as the specialization required in each case.

The occurrence of a claim, especially when complex and/or high value, requires refined, adequate, efficient, and immediate handling.

We are aware of all the particularities involved in the management of a claim and fully integrate them into our workflow: what to do, when to do it, why and how to do it, ensuring a high and stable quality of our work during the settlement process.

Considering our capacity as a team of surveyors, duly registered with the National Insurance Federation, our aim is to promote effective risk management and loss handling to mitigate the outcome and establish any motions for reimbursement.

We are Members of the IILA - International Institute of Loss Adjusters (www.iila.com) and Members of the International Association of Marine Consultants and Surveyors (www.interams.org).
